YOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Seattle – Embark your ship – ms Amsterdam
Seattle is a kaleidoscope of towering skylines, acres of parks flowing beneath the Magnolia Bridge and views of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains. You can wander along the 2 miles of shoreline of Discovery Park, or take a trip to the Magnolia downtown district for some specialty shopping and visit the famous Pike Place Market. Pioneer Square-International District is ideal for those wanting to see some of the culture of the city and is filled with galleries and restaurants.

Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Juneau
Completely surrounded by towering mountains and the waters of Gastineau Channel. The town cannot be accessed by road which gives it a feel of untouched nature at its best. Juneau offers an amazingly wide range of activities, including whale watching, zip lining, fishing and dining in one of the several Wild West themed restaurants. Mendenhall is a breathtaking 12 mile long river of ice and is a must see for its spectacular.
Day 4: Hubbard Glacier
The Hubbard Glacier is a spectacularly stunning sight. Rising from the ice filled waters, this magnificent glacier enchants and amazes visitors. Over 6 miles wide and 400 years old, this beautiful natural wonder reflects its power over the deep blue waters surrounding it.
Day 5: Sitka
This stunning port is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and its obvious Russian influence. This small village is famed for its natural beauty, history and is overflowing with charm. Activities include trekking on one of the many scenic trails in the Tongass National Forest, which takes you from sea level to the top of the snow-capped mountains. Seals and eagles abound or try your hand at catching the Salmon swimming freely in the rivers while watching the beautiful wildlife. For the history buff’s visit the many museums including the Sheldon Jackson Museum, Sitka Historical Museum and Sitka National Historical Park
Day 6: Ketchikan
The town of Ketchikan provides you with not only beauty, history, culture but a truly Native Alaskan experience. Deer Mountain Tribal Hatchery and Eagle Center, are a must see, where you can view salmon by the thousands and meet the eagles. Visit Saxman Totem Park to see 26 beautifully sculpted multi-colored totems, a tribal house where you can watch dance performance and a carving workshop. Misty Fjords National Monument is an Alaskan natural wonder, but only accessible by boat or plane. You can see majestic mountain ranges, rushing waterfalls, fjords, glaciers and beautiful lakes.
