Honolulu spreads throughout the south eastern shores of Oahu, from Pearl Harbour to the world famous Waikiki, once a playground for the Hawaiian royalty.

A land of waterfalls and volcanoes, Hilo is a tropical paradise. Visit Liliuokalani Gardens, a Japanese garden on the shore of Kuhio Bay and contains 30 acres of pagodas, ponds, and picnic areas. Inland, along the lower reaches of Mauna Kea, Kolekole stream plunges 442 feet over a cliff at Akaka Falls. Closer into town travellers can see Rainbow Falls, a beautiful 80 ft waterfall.

Nuka Hiva is a beautiful island blanketed in breath-taking landscapes and beauty. Hike through the deep valleys, passed the stunning Ahui waterfall to the picturesque Anaho bay with views of rolling landscapes and dramatic scenery due to the islands volcanic origins. Snorkel in the crystal waters and experience a colourful underwater marine paradise.

Moorea is a magical island that is full of striking scenery with beautiful mountains rising from its translucent lagoon. It’s decorated with quaint villages and beaches along its coastline that are ready to be explored. Spend your time either snorkelling the stunning coastline or visit Moorea’s Tiki Village for a traditional feast and authentic Polynesian dance show.
Day 17: Papeete
Papeete harbour is full of hustle and bustle surrounded by a mass of crystal water and sandy white beaches. Tahiti has a bustling, vibrant feeling with markets lining the streets, colourful boulevard and numerous sidewalk café. Neighbouring Tahiti Iti is home to a few villages and small beaches offering trips to view stunning waterfalls, archaeological sites and caves and beautiful scenery.

Day 19: Bora Bora
Bora Bora is surrounded by glistening white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and stunning mountainous landscape. This island is renowned for hosting many celebrities over the years because it really is a piece of paradise. The lagoon is three times the size of the island and is home to an abundance of beautiful marine life. You can hire bikes and circle the whole island taking in the breathtaking views and tropical wildlife.

Dramatic mountain peaks surround the deep blue waters of Pago Pago. The town is rich in history and culture filled with historic buildings and museums. Visit the Baroque Torre de Clerigos, the Roman Cedofeita Church and the home of the Navigator, Prince Henry for an insight into this ports historic beauty and to soak up some of the culture on offer. The shops offer a wide range of independent and boutique shops as well as top designers.

Apia serves as a gateway to neighbouring Samoa. Samoa offers stunning beaches, crystal waters, natural beauty, history and culture. Visit the Samoa Scenic Tour where you will see breathtaking sights and natural wonders of Apia, from the Falefa Falls to the Piula Cave Pool. Walk through the town visiting one of the many museums, galleries and experience the old charm imbedded into the city.

The main street of this relaxed city is lined with palm trees, and the Koroyanitu Range towers in the background. Occasionally little sugar trains from the local mill drive through the centre. Take a trip to the sugar mill, shop for souvenirs at the local market, or go island-hopping to discover Treasure and Beachcomber Islands.

Suva is the largest city in the South Pacific, and is a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities. The bustling urban streets encompass a jumble of colonial and modern buildings. There are plenty of modern shopping malls shops to visit and plenty of varied and exciting restaurants.

Noumea is surrounded by white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Dubbed as the ‘little piece of France’ in the Pacific, this French territory boasts unique architecture, stunning nature walks, picturesque views and charming boutiques and shops. Visit Tjibaou Cultural Centre and discover breath-taking architectural designs and experience the true Kanak culture and way of life.

Brisbane is a lively, cosmopolitan city with beautiful riverside parks, a busy cultural calendar and a vibrant café culture. The river is lined with busy malls, riverfront plazas, outdoor man-made beaches, water parks, botanical gardens and wildlife parks. The vibe here is relaxed with nearby Gold Coast and Surfer’s Paradise being a top location for watersports and some of Australia’s best beaches.
