Aurland is a small village in a beautiful natural environment boasting dramatic landscape and culture. A major centre of power during the Viking Age it is situated by two major Fjords; Aurlandfjord and Naeroyfjord. Vangen church completed in 1202 by an ancient local family who lived in Aurland during the Viking Age is certainly worth a visit.

Akureyri is set in stunning scenery filled with charm and a thriving artists community. Set on some of Iceland’s most beautiful fjords and scattered with quaint churches and magnificent waterfall, Akureyri is a place not easily forgotten.. The old town is filled with history where you will see the first school, hospital and theater, the first two storey buildings built in Iceland. For more spectacular beauty visit the natural spa near Lake Myvatn.
