Day 1 – Southampton (UK) Embark your ship P&O Oriana
Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Cobh
Was previously known as Queenstown until 1922. This was the main embarkation point for America and the last port of call of the Titanic. Cobh is a pleasant waterside town filled with brightly coloured house and steep climbing streets leading up to the imposing Cobh Cathedral with its 47 bells. There plenty of pleasant walks, restaurants and waterside cafes to make this a really enjoyable port of call.
Day 4: Dublin
Dublin overflows with a rich historical past and current, lively cultural scene. Beautiful architecture and stunning scenery and a wealth of charm. Spend a day at one of the several of the city’s large shopping districts, explore the variety of museums, or relax at one of the many thriving pubs and restaurants.
Day 5: Killybegs
Killybegs in County Donegal is a port rich in culture and history, surrounded by wonderful historic castles and stunning national parks. Close bye are many picturesque villages, bustling modern towns and scenic coastal walks. Donegal Town is home to Donegal Castle, museums, galleries and local shops for a day of relaxing and soaking up the Irish culture. Local trails include the Killybegs looped walks or the Hidden Delights Bus tour. A visit to Cyndi Graham Hand weaving Center is also worth the time.
Day 6: Galway
Galway has a bohemian flavor that is typical of the West of Ireland’s laid back attitude to life and always ready for a party attitude. The city has a reputation artistic creativity, music, horse-racing and literature. Not to forget its oysters. Brightly painted pubs are to be seen virtually everywhere with street side cafes offering the perfect spot to watch the multitudes of street performers.
